Since the inaugural meeting in Boston, USA
in 1977, MAGLEV conferences have been held in many other celebrated
cities in the world. Daejeon is now going to join these prestigious
cities by hosting the 21st Conference. Evidently, the aims of the
forthcoming conference are two-fold. One is to provide opportunities for
various researchers and engineers worldwide to present their pioneering
works and to share their ideas in the field of magnetically levitated
systems and linear drives. During this conference, significant
advancements in all aspects of research, development and applications
will be covered and discussed in presentations together with plenary and
invited talks. The other is to enhance the relationship among member
societies and make a meeting place for friends inseparable due to common
objectives of research, development and application and the possibility
is given for further co-work resulting in mutual achievements.
